Our hearts are so full of gratitude to you. Our hearts are broken but they are also full, and that is because of you.
Thank you for ALL of your wonderful meals!!! (amazing that we are not really round people right now), for the Caringbridge posts, your faithful, constant prayers, for your constancy to Julia, painting with her, praying with her, visiting with her, loving her.
Most of all, thank you for loving her. She knew how deeply she was loved; she told us that several times over the past few months and so much of that certainly is because of you. We could make an entire notebook, probably more than one, filled with a single-spaced list of acts of kindness and selfless service to our family and to Julia.
As excruciating as this has been for us, we know that we have been given a glimpse of the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth, the pain along with the beauty.
We look forward to heaven in a way that we never have before where "God will wipe away every tear; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things will have passed away. - Revelation 2:14
